Configurations
The P-750 aircraft can come in a number of configurations such as Freight, Passenger, Air Medical, Aerial Photography, Skydive and others. The aircraft is also flexible and can be used for multi-roles. For example it can fly one leg with cargo in the aircraft and seats folded in the cargo pod so that it can fly passengers on the return leg, or vice versa.
The Freight option can give the operator a lot of space to load cargo once the cabin is empty. Cargo tracks can be put down the side of the aircraft so that straps or cargo nets can hold cargo in place. Additional cargo can be placed in the cargo pod or additional space can be made in an aft cabin space as well giving the operator 3 main areas to store cargo. With a useful load approaching 2 metric tons and probably the lowest operating costs in its class the P-750 is likely to be the lowest cost per kilogram for freight into short runways.
The Passenger option allows 2 pilots and 8 passengers or 1 pilot and 9 passengers depending on whether the operator is flying single or dual pilots. All passengers have plenty of space and good visibility out of large windows. The cargo pod also provides the capability to carry additional luggage and Air-conditioning is an option for the P-750, and usually a requirement for passenger operations around the Tropics.
The Air Medical option allows 2 stretchers to be loaded into the P-750 aircraft along one side of the aircraft and provides space for attendants on the facing side of the aircraft. Stretcher base attachments are attached to the seat tracks in the cabin of the aircraft and stretchers are then mounted and secured on the bases during flight. The P-750 benefits from a large rear cabin door which allows stretchers to be lifted into and out of the aircraft with relative ease.
The Aerial Photography option has a camera hatch installed into the belly of the aircraft with a sliding cover over the hole. The camera equipment is then mounted in the aircraft over the camera hole and connected to onboard processing units. Once the aircraft is airborne and on station the operator can open the camera hatch to start aerial photography work. The hatch is closed on completion and prior to landing. The P-750 aircraft is used in Australia for Aerial Photography and is found to be a very stable platform for such work.
The Skydive option has the standard door replaced with a clear rolling door that allows easy light weight use in flight. Additional options include skydive grab rails inside and outside the cabin which allow skydive groups to co-ordinate their exit more easily. For more accurate spotting and communication with a load master a MIC jack is an option next to the exit which can help with more accurate jump runs. Crew oxygen is also an option if an operator is intending to regularly offer high altitude jumps.
These are the main configurations the P-750 aircraft is used for although the aircraft has been used for other roles as well. If you have a specific mission not listed here please contact us and we’ll be pleased to help you with your requirement. |
